European Deaf Football Championship

The sixth playing of the European Deaf Football Championships is taking place in Portugal between 11 June 2007 and 23 June 2007 with twelve countries competing in the finals. The competition is divided into three groups of four with the top two from each group and the two best placed third sides qualifying for the knockout stages.

Ireland has been drawn in Group A with Belgium, Russia and Ukraine. Group B comprises Cyprus, Denmark, France and Germany while Group C consists of Czech Republic, Great Britain, Hungary and Portugal.

Group A results:- Belgium 1-1 Russia, Ireland 3-1 Ukraine; Belgium 2-5 Ukraine, Russia 1-0 Ireland; Ukraine 2-1 Russia, Ireland 4-0 Belgium.
