Trapattoni
reaches end of First Term...02/06/2008
Manager
Giovanni Trapattoni has completed the first stage of his voyage with the Republic
of Ireland senior international team. The absence of several front line players
has somewhat limited the first term review process, however the general consensus,
following the fixtures against Serbia and Colombia, appears to be one of cautious
optimism. The trip to Oslo to face Norway on Wednesday 20 August, swiftly followed
by the opening World Cup qualifiers in Georgia and Montenegro will provide a
more accurate picture of the waters ahead.
