With
the fifth series of fixtures now completed, Cobh Ramblers and Sligo
Rovers lead the Eircom League First Division by two points from promotion
favourites Dublin City.
St Colman’s Park, Cobh will host the top of the table clash when Sligo Rovers visit the venue on Saturday evening. A large attendance is expected for what is anticipated to be a lively encounter. Another of the pre season fancies, Kildare County, have the opportunity to put their disappointing start behind them when they entertain Athlone Town at Station Road, Newbridge in Saturday’s other first division fixture. In the
weekend’s other First Division fixtures, Galway United entertain
Dundalk and Limerick welcome Dublin City to Hogan Park on Friday evening.
Monaghan Town will maintain their traditional Sunday afternoon kick
off time with the visit of struggling Kilkenny City.
