Four Nations Semi-Professional Tournament

Stuart Ashton who manages the Cork City U21 team will take charge of the Republic of Ireland team for the tournament which will take place in Cork between Tuesday 24 May 2005 and Saturday 28 May 2005. England, Scotland and Wales will make up the round-robin competition.

Ireland will be represented by a predominantly U21 selection drawn from the Eircom U21 League. The England squad will be selected from the Conference, Scotland will pick from the Highland, Northern and Southern Leagues and Wales from the Welsh Premier League.

The tournament commenced in 2002 and was held in England with Wales emerging victorious. The 2003 event was hosted by Wales and England were the winners while last year the tournament was played in Scotland where Wales were again successful.
