PFAI Player of the Year Award

Former international captain and RISSC Honorary President, Kenny Cunningham was the guest of honour at the superb PFAI Awards Dinner held in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin. Cunningham presented the Derry City duo, Mark Farren and Pat McCourt with the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards, voted for by their fellow professionals.

The First Division Player of the Year trophy was awarded to Cobh Ramblers striker Kieran O’Reilly while the inaugural Referee of the Year award was presented to Alan Kelly. The long standing Galway United servant, Tony Mannion received the Special Merit Award from Kenny Cunningham.

Referee of the Year: Alan Kelly
Special Merit Award: Tony Mannion (Galway United)
