APSCIL Sunday League - First Division - 2007/2008

The official 2007/08 season commenced for RISSC (London) on Sunday 23 September 2007 with the visit of newly promoted Bristol City SC to the LPR Sports Ground at Sudbury Hill.

The APSCIL Sunday League First Division will this season consist of ten teams, with newly promoted Bristol City SC and Manchester City SC replacing the relegated Birmingham City SC, Crewe Alexandra SC and Manchester United SC from last season's eleven team division.

Six players who started last season: Dempsey, Hickey, Lavelle, Monogue and the Stockwell brothers, have departed for various reasons. JP Boyle and Martin Long joined during last season and will be part of this season's squad. Manager Paul Franklin has signed 8 new players to the Club: Conor Clancy, Michael Dunford, Martin Kincaid, Patrick Neylon, Kieran O'Sullivan, Peter Reilly, Dennis Scannel and Mark Warren.

Captain for the season will be the perennial Jon Carey with goalkeeper Darren Nolan filling the vice-captain role.
