UEFA Championship Elite Stage
The draw for the Elite Stage of the 2012 UEFA Championships has been made and Ireland will meet top seeds France, host nation Norway and Poland in Group Two. The group fixtures will take place between Monday 19 March 2012 and Saturday 24 March 2012.
The group winner only, will advance to the Championship Finals at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland from 26th to 29th June 2012.
The top three
finishers at the UEFA Finals will qualify for the 2012 FIFA U17 Women's World
cup to be hosted by Azerbaijan from 22th September 2012 to the 13th October
2012.

2012 UEFA Qualifying Stage
The draw for the qualifying round of the 2012 UEFA Championships saw Ireland meet FYR Macedonia, who hosted the preliminary stage, Italy and Romania in Group 2. The group fixtures took place between Monday 10th and Saturday 15th October 2011.
Head Coach Harry Kenny was assisted by Laura Cusack together with goalkeeping coach Carl O'Shaughnessy.
Ireland
opened the Qualifying Tournament with a hard fought three two victory over
Romania on Monday 10th October 2011. A six nil victory over
hosts Macedonia in the second contest was followed by a one
all draw with favourites Italy, which won the Group for Ireland
and eliminated the Italians from the Tournament.
